Cardiovascular disease remains the nation's greatest health problem.

Health plans that demonstrate excellence in cardiovascular care benefit by improving outcomes and ultimately lowering health care costs.

This publication grew out of the four-year success of the Novartis Report on Member Satisfaction within Managed Care.

The report clearly showed that by delivering superior cardiovascular care, health plans not only improved clinical outcomes, but also benefited by increasing member satisfaction, which, in turn, resulted in higher re-enrollment rates, more recommendations, and improved profitability.
